Sage Fitness

A studio that fits
a weekday.

Sage is a small fitness and health studio that films everything it teaches. Strength, mobility and yoga, and food you can actually cook, in one membership you open at home.

Short enough for a weekday. Clear enough to repeat.

Built for the person who wants to train, not to plan.

  • You train at home, or in a room with a mat and one set of dumbbells. That is enough for everything here.
  • You have thirty minutes on a Tuesday, not two hours on a Saturday. Every session is built around that.
  • You are new, returning after a long gap, or well past beginner. The instructors scale the work either way.
  • You would rather be told what to do today than decide it. That is what a program is for.

That is the whole method.

No streaks to protect, no score to beat. Three steps, and the same three steps tomorrow.

1

Open a program.

Pick one and it holds the order for you. Strength, mobility, or a mix, already sequenced week by week.

2

Do the session on the list.

Follow along start to finish. Every movement is cued out loud, with a lighter option and a harder one.

3

Come back tomorrow.

The program remembers where you stopped. Miss a day and it waits rather than punishing you for it.

A typical week

Seven days, already decided.

This is roughly how a Sage week runs. Strength on the hard days, mobility between them, one session on food, and a day that asks nothing of you.

Where Sage came from.

Sage started as one room above a hardware store, with twelve mats, two racks of dumbbells, and a whiteboard by the door that held the week.

Members kept photographing the whiteboard before they traveled. So we filmed the sessions instead, badly at first, then properly. The room is still open. The whiteboard is now this library.

The studio has not grown much since, on purpose. Four instructors is the number we can keep honest.

Give it 7 days.

One program. A few classes. See if it fits your week.

Cancel before day 7 if you do not want to continue.
